Adam Deakin’s career sits at the intersection of agriculture, recreation, and western land. Raised in Colorado, he developed an early connection to the outdoors through hunting, fishing, and summers spent working on hay operations, experiences that shaped both his appreciation for working lands and the people who depend on them.
He earned a B.S. in Agricultural Business with a minor in Real Estate from Colorado State University, where he served as President of the CSU Bass Fishing Team and Treasurer of Ducks Unlimited. After college, Adam began his career in agricultural finance with Hall and Hall, advising traditional operators, investors, and recreational buyers on farm and ranch real estate financings tied to more than $130 million in combined property value across seven western states.
Today, as a broker with Live Water Properties, Adam represents buyers and sellers across the West with a focus on farms, ranches, and recreational properties where production, habitat, water, and long term value all matter. His background in both finance and brokerage gives clients a grounded perspective on land, from operational realities and investment considerations to the qualities that make a property truly special.

Adam’s involvement in the world of outdoors extends beyond his professional life. As a tournament bass angler, he competes on a regional and national scale, showcasing his skills and passion on the water. In addition, he hosts Business from the Bass Boat Podcast, part of his co-founded podcast network, The Serious Angler Podcast Network. When not casting lines, Adam embraces the challenge and thrill of archery big game hunts across the western landscapes, immersing himself in all the West has to offer. Upland and waterfowl hunting further solidifies his bond with the land and its diverse inhabitants.
Through it all, Adam remains grounded by his core values and an unyielding commitment and integrity to his clients. With a deep understanding of the land, real estate investment, and a heart that beats for the outdoors, Adam is the embodiment of a true partner in turning property dreams into lasting legacies.
