Creekside Ranch
Details & Features
The Creekside Ranch is a virtual wildlife mecca located in west-central Fergus County, a scenic 20-minute drive from Lewistown, Montana. Situated in a pastoral rural setting, the ranch is comprised of a diverse +435 deeded acres, that include cropland, native grasses and lush river riparian habitat. Warm Spring Creek meanders through the property for approximately half a mile and is touted as the world’s largest natural warm spring. In addition to the creek, there are three ponds on the ranch, all of which support both rainbow and brown trout, as well as smallmouth bass. The ranch is home to an incredible and varied wildlife community that includes elk, whitetail and mule deer, pheasant, Hungarian partridge, sharptail grouse and waterfowl. Multiple water rights are utilized efficiently with a new custom center pivot and wheel lines powered by electric pumps, to maximize yields on various wildlife attracting crops. Improvements on the ranch are of the highest quality, particularly the gorgeous custom built owners’ residence, which features large wrap-around covered patios and spacious outdoor decks to better appreciate the big views of the surrounding mountains and the creek, as well as spectacular Montana sunrise and sunsets. There is an outdoor kitchen alongside a beautiful outdoor gas fire pit, and a built in hot tub overlooking the creek bottom, for a comforting soak after a long day in the field. A portion of the property shares common boundary with a 640-acre state section. Warm Spring Creek winds through this section as well, offering additional recreational possibilities.
