Florida Timberland for Sale
Florida timberland tends to have a higher wetland percentage and is dominated by the Flatwoods ecosystem, which can often times have all three major pine species in one area. These forests offer a great diversity of wildlife and produce some of the fastest growing timber stands in the US. This allows a landowner to have a top producing timber investment and enjoy a wide variety of recreational interests on the property. Many of these properties also enjoy river and creek frontage, which adds fishing, kayaking and canoeing to an already diverse set of uses. A distinctive feature such as a lake, river or creek has been historically shown to produce a higher resale value for landowners, and we encourage our clients to look for distinguishing characteristics when making an investment in land in the south.
